Why not privatize a rooftop in Paris?
Having a drink on a rooftop in Paris is so much fun, but did you know that you can also privatise these spaces?
For a birthday party, an EVJF, an EVG, a wedding, or simply to enjoy getting together with friends, you can privatise a rooftop and enjoy a breathtaking view, just for you!
Companies can also book it for their events! For a seminar, a company cocktail, a networking evening or an after-work party in Paris, the rooftops of Paris welcome you every day when the weather is fine. These events can be tailored to your needs with bespoke catering, decoration and entertainment options.
Why choose a rooftop in Paris?
If you're going to have a drink on a terrace, you might as well do it high up with a view!
For the view!
Each rooftop offers a different view, but all are breathtaking. Whether you're in the heart of the 1st arrondissement or the heights of Montmartre, the panoramic views are always spectacular. Photographers will be delighted to capture images worthy of the finest postcards.
Paris rooftop bars and restaurants compete in ingenuity to offer innovative cocktails and tasty dishes.
Bars and restaurants on the rooftops of Paris compete to serve the most innovative cocktails and tasty dishes. How about a signature cocktail on a brick terrace overlooking the Seine? Or perhaps you'd prefer to enjoy tapas in a more intimate setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the city? Each location has its own unique character and promises an exceptional dining experience in its own restaurant.
For the vibe?
Part of the charm of the rooftops of Paris is the atmosphere. Each rooftop has its own rhythm: from a lively evening with live music to a quiet afternoon with the family, you're sure to find an atmosphere to suit you. Some hotels also offer themed evenings, transforming their restaurant terraces into dance floors under the stars.
For the Decoration?
These terraces are often tastefully decorated, combining comfort and style.
Sometimes themed and sometimes decorated with a thousand and one plants or brick facades, these terraces are also seductive for their decoration! With their colourful parasols, exotic plants and soft lighting, these rooftops are a dream come true for decor lovers.
The best terraces in Paris
We love rooftops, but nothing beats the legendary terrace parties in Paris and the love that Parisians have for their terraces.
Paris is full of brasseries with exceptional terraces and unique atmospheres. The Café de l'Homme on the Trocadéro is one of the must-sees, with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower. Its terrace is the ideal place to enjoy dinner or a cocktail while admiring one of the most beautiful views in Paris.
In the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Les Deux Magots offers a historic terrace where literary ambience meets Parisian charm. For an open-air lunch or a coffee, this emblematic place has hosted famous writers and artists.
Nearby, the terrace of Café Le Procope, the oldest café in Paris, serves traditional French dishes.
Place Dauphine on the Ile de la Cité is home to a number of picturesque terraces, including La Rose de France. This is a quiet spot where you can enjoy a relaxing break in the open air.
In the Marais district, Café Charlot has a lively terrace overlooking the Rue de Bretagne. This is the ideal place for lovers of a friendly atmosphere and bistro cuisine. Finally, the terrace of the Pavillon des Canaux, on the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq, is bucolic and colourful. It's perfect for brunch or an evening with friends, with relaxing views over the water.
These Parisian terraces and bars are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the unique atmosphere of the French capital.
Why not privatize a terrace in Paris?
Although it is more common for rooftops to be privatised, some terraces can also host private, personal or professional events. This is the case with the terraces of the Café de l'Homme or Monsieur Bleu, both of which offer stunning views of the Eiffel Tower.
For a more festive atmosphere, places like Le Flow or Rosa Bonheur sur Seine, located in the heart of Paris between the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower, offer private terraces overlooking the Seine with a bar and refreshments (but no real restaurant). It's the place to be in summer (private hire for 200 people or more at Rosa Bonheur).
Before organising such an event, don't forget to check the transport links in Paris - some venues are more accessible than others!
So, do you prefer restaurant terraces or rooftops in Paris? Either way, the City of Light will surprise you with its breathtaking rooftops and countless terrace bars. The Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre, the Seine or the Louvre? All you have to do is choose! Between Montmartre, Louvre-Rivoli, Montparnasse, Les Halles, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Canal Saint-Martin... Choose your neighbourhood and escape to the heart of Paris!
